FORMACIÓN BASADA EN COMPETENCIAS PARA LA INTERVENCIÓN PROFESIONAL EN EL NIVEL DE INDIVIDUAL – FAMILIAR / Competency-based training for professional interventions with individuals and families

Abstract
Todo proceso de aprendizaje de una carrera profesional requiere de una sólida formación teórica. Para el programa de estudios de Trabajo Social este aspecto es de vital relevancia. Sin embargo, todos los conocimientos que se pudieran adquirir, carecen de efectividad si no se saben aplicar a la realidad a intervenir y de esta manera realizar una contribución real a la sociedad. El desafío es formar Trabajadores Sociales que exhiban una forma particular de desenvolverse e intervenir en lo social, que les distinga de otros profesionales con los que comparte el área. Para hacer efectiva esta declaración, se ha propuesto una serie de estrategias para la formación de la base teórica, generando aprendizajes significativos y relevantes y una lógica de intervención, determinando momentos del proceso y definiendo productos para cada uno de ellos. Finalmente, se presentan elementos a considerar en un proceso de evaluación por competencias identificadas para el nivel Individual Familiar, utilizando el Modelo propuesto por Bunk y Echeverría, con la intención de ir precisando evidencias que permitan configurar un marco orientador respecto de las competencias presentes en el Trabajo Social de Caso y Familia.
Any learning process in a professional career requires a solid theoretical base. This issue is relevant for social work programs as well. However, any knowledge that could be acquired lacks of effectiveness if it is not applied to the reality to be intervened and, thus, to really contribute to the society. The challenge, then, is to train social workers able to show a particular way of interacting and intervening in the social field, which may distinguish them from other professionals with whom they share the field. To make this statement true, it has been proponed a group of strategies for the formation of the theoretical basis in order to make significant and relevant learning processes, to acquire a logic of intervention that determine moments for the intervention process, and to define products for each of them as well. Finally, some elements are presented to be considered for the assessment of competencies process as applied to the individual-case and family levels, using the Bunk and Echeverría´s model, with the purpose of specifying evidence that may allow the configuration of a guidance frame regarding both case work and family interventions.
